    Fully scanned the car

I took a short trip over to AudiSport's house after my car was acting up. It would only boost to 5 PSI. It did that twice, then the next time it spiked to 19-20 and tapered to 17.

Odd, right? I thought so too.

We scanned the whole car and here is what came up:

Was the deviation code, negative or positive deviation?

Yea, I know. I didn't mention it because I forgot what it was called and didn't want to mess up and call it something it wasn't.

Yea, it was really odd. When it happened I thought to myself "I bet it happens a few times and then goes back to normal." Lo and behold, it did.

I'm pretty sure it was positive deviation.... Mike said it was getting too much boost (if i recall correctly).

he supposedly got APR from "10sec Marc", whats funny though is Grahams car booosts up to 20 tapers to 18. I thought APR boosted 17 tapering to 15.

unplugging the MAF on the APR software doesn't usually help much, i know on GIAC you can I ran that way for 5 months LOL

    Re: Fully scanned the car

Update, the car is doing the boost problem again. I'm going to unplug the MAF and see what the does.

    Re: Fully scanned the car

are you running a mbc at all?

Those codes you listed are only for rear 02's and since they are gone that is why the codes are there.

that other code you recieved could be the one to fix.

I know this, for me I was getting a :
17963 - Charge Pressure: Maximum Limit Exceeded
    P1555 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

when I went to standalone mbc. reason is my mbc was allowing it to boost too high causing it to go to limp mode. (only boost to 5-6 psi)

If this sounds like what you are getting, try turning your boost down some.

I personally dont think unplugging the maf will fix it. But then again I never tried that either.

I finally went back to just using n75 and now its not overboosting like that.

    Re: Fully scanned the car

I don't have an MBC, but Mike (and I) think that my N75 is shot. Could that be the culprit?

    Re: Fully scanned the car

Yes if the N75 isnt working right it will allow the car to overboost and throw it in limp mode.

Why do you think the n75 is shot? Is it just a guess or do you have evidence pointing to it?

I guess if its overboosting, that would be evidence pointing to it.

Its definately shot. I just boosted to 23....

Where can I pick up a new N75, and how much do they typically run?
