Want to hear your opinion on emblems

Okay, so I'm interested in which looks better. The rear view with no emblems at all (kinda makes people guess what it is), or with the rings painted in black.

Tell me what you think about the front chrome rings painted in black as well. Does it look better than the chrome? I had a extra set of emblems around, and had a paint shop spray them for me.

I'd go with black front and back... That said I find it odd that you are debating with yourself over such a subtle difference in look but are ok with that atrocious plate frame. Seriously that's the busiest thing on the hatch and it draws your eye no matter what color the rings are. I'd go plain black on the plate frame and black rings and it will look a WORLD better.

I like the rings on front and back. You'd be surprised at the people that will still call it a Volvo even with the rings!

I'd also go with both chrome or both black. Symmetry is your friend...

BTW, great looking avant! I miss my B5!

Front: leave it chrome or paint it in silver (not chrome)

I just kind of wanted to hear what other people thought, even though I already had a pretty good idea myself. I think I will go with black front and back.

I agree about the plate. I will be keeping my eye out for a flat black frame. Here's a pic of the wheels, sorry they're not flat black, but I agree flat black would have looked awesome as well.

Btw, this is my first Audi, and I am loving it!!

Black and black... I'm OCD when it comes to symmetry... I would also paint the trim piece for the trunk to match the blacked out trim in the front. If you like having the plate frame you can just get a plain one and paint it black as well to match.

Also your Avant is very nice, the S4 bumper looks sweet and I can't wait to get mine installed eventually.. :)

I like my ass clean, however, black rings on the rear may assist with a themed look. I may do the same (add black rings on the back) once/if I acquire the other parts to my project.

I always notice because I went a little too much on the two-toned theme and painted mine black. It looks like my headlights have black eyes.

Yes, they were filled in. How often do they ever get used? The bumper is an S4, and looks much cleaner without the washer caps I think.
