my k04 pc16 setup made 17Xawhp and 22Xawtq. that was with a lean ~13:1 afr pull . 91 oct. Bumped fuel pressure and lowered the afr to 12.5:1 on second run but it was already hot from the first, im happy, oh yea it was a dynomite dyno. dyno sheets to come, waiting for 034 to email them

    Re: k04 dyno

Ive seen/heard many chipped ko3's making 17x hp and 22x torque. Those numbers seem very low.

    Re: k04 dyno

Needed to bump that fuel a bit more to get you into the 11's.

IIRC dynomite dyno reads low like a Dyno dynamic.

    Re: k04 dyno

I see you live in Cali how hot was it and what was the humidity? that may play a role... but damn 170awhp for a k04 does seem weak... get a 100tune and up the boost..

OH yea how much boost was that? 20-22 ish?

    Re: k04 dyno

The pulls were done around 12:30PM. Temp was in excess of 80 atleast, I didnt look at a thermo but lets put it this way, I was starting to sweat after watching a few cars do pulls. Last time I checked my fuel pressure I set it at 43 psi, but when Javad checked it he said it was way below, don't know what happened there. So he bumped it up a bit on the last run and got 12.5:1 so I guess I should bump it a little more. For comparison awe stg3 s4 made 290/290, stg1 chipped fwd a4 w/ exhaust made 170/200, and a b6 quat apr k04 w/ test pipe/exhaust made 16x/21x, those are all from memory so +/-. injectors are bosch red top 310s and yes 20-21 or so boost

    Re: k04 dyno

yes reading with vac line off.

Turn out was good, about 20+ people. I tried to get there early to see the vrt run, but people didnt show up until around 1, so they did it later. The vrt was amazing. They said they are going to try to have another dyno day soon, but we'll see

    Re: k04 dyno

Damn, I thought the K04 was slightly better then the 03. If a chipped 03 is the same as a K04 i'll save my money.
