I want to ditch the orange pre-facelift side marker lights for smoked.

Are the ebay sets of smoked side marker lights just as good as the Hella Kits?

Do the OEM orange square side markers just pop out of the fender?

I tried to search but couldnt pull anything up.

Yes, they just pop out. What I did was take a flat head screw driver and wrapped it in electrical tape and poped them out with that.

I have the hella ones in my fenders and haven't had any issues with them, but then again they are side markers what could go worng? I guess the ebay kits might not fit as well or something but I'd save the money and go with ebay. I only have hella because they were free.

Just buy some VHT spay tint and spray those ******s

The way they go in, one side slides in and the other side pops in. So just slide them back from the side that slides in and they should come right out. I don't remember which side but I think if you push them back a little bit they should come right out.
