Did a wash/clay/wax yesterday.. Been driving around since then so it has lost a bit of its luster. Beautiful day and new pics nonetheless!

Thanks man, you have a hot car yourself!

I am always a little embarassed to post my product list because it isn't so impressive. Haha I really think it's all about attention to detail.

    Turtlewax something rather soap.
McGuier's clay, smooth surface spray, and wax
Black Magic Tire shine (I know I know...)
    Magic chamois
    Wet/dry vac
    210 mph electric leaf blower
    Soft bristle brush
    Wash mitt
    LOTS of elbow grease!

    Hey, whatever works, right?!!

I like how the rims look except the fact of so many holes in the center... that part doesn't look clean but your entire car setup and the wash is perfect.

    Re: Another squeaky clean A4

    Clean ride!

Btw, what's the ride height f/r?
I noticed you set the front higher than the back with some wheel gap, is there any reasoning behind it?

    Re: Another squeaky clean A4

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the "10 x 112" look.. But once I find some centercaps that I really like (I got the free blank ones from Stasis but they just don't match) I will probably upgrade my lugs to some nicer looking ones that should clean up the bolt pattern look. Centercaps should help too.

Part of the front/rear height difference is due to the incline of the area where the car is sitting. The front is about .25 higher than the rear though. This is to prevent rubbing when I am really pushing the car (I'm running 245/35/19 on 19 x 8.5 wheels) and because the corner balance turned out that way.. It usually isn't noticable at all!
Thanks for the compliments, wish I was a better photographer!!

Oh ok, but what is the ride height f/r? I have mine set at 25.5" front and 26" rear. The shop told me I should have the back higher to avoid rubbing when I have passengers in the back. Now I'm thinking about lowering the back to be 25.5" all around for the perfect stance, do you think i'll rub?

Btw my wheels are 8.5" wide too on 235s.

    Re: Another squeaky clean A4

I definitely wouldn't worry about the back rubbing, it has tons more room than the front for tires (depending on your offset of course- I'm guessing +35). You know, even though I've been underneath my car a dozen times, I still haven't taken a tape measure to it. I will do that tomorrow!
And harryd- I do have the RS4 grill and the RS4 filler plate. I contemplated going with the Titanium version but to me it didn't 'fit' right without the titanium window trim. For me, it's gotta be all black or have the nice understated brushed/polished aluminum all the way around.

i might start using an air compressor for the roof, hood, and trunk. just so i dont waste 2 towels drying up the huge lakes of water on them

    Any pics? Sound cool!

And yeah, the leaf blower works great to get water out of all the cracks and to minimize the amount of times I have to wring out the chamois!

Thanks guys!! The only other planned mods that will effect the exterior are AWE quad-tip exhaust and potentially some bigger brakes. Other than that, the other mods will be invisible (when the hood is closed...)!
