what size are the bolts that secure the transmission to the block? I need to pick some up from Ace hardware. The reason I am asking is I am going to be securing the motor to an engine stand I have.
I do work around the South East on your 1.8t or 2.7t, PM for more info

dont you have one of the ones that holds it on? If so and there not long enough to use with the engine stand just take it with you and find a nut that fits it then find the right bolt that way.
