    Question painting exhaust tips

    im going to paint my tips black, whats the best way to do it...aka can i rattle can them? theyre stainless obviously. should i have them powdercoated?

    OMG... why?

    anyhow, powdercoat it. rattle can will melt off w the quickness.

    if i were you i wouldnt leave it.

    Get them ceramic coated black, shouldn't be much

    no actually rattle can would be fine as long as you use the high temp paint..


    the tips dont get that hot.. maybe a hundred and somethin degrees.. nothing to be worried about.. you could probably use standard spray paint and be ok.

    if it melts off of the exhaust tip then black/dark cars should melt on 90 deg summer days. considering paint temps can get over 150 degrees.

    10.4 @ 136 C16 (bad slipping clutch)
    138mph best trap with slipping clutch.
