wastegate loose? normal?

Just looking for a quick response..

In the process of putting a testpipe on my car i wanted to check out the turbo .. The turbine itself felt fine, the wastegate in the turbo felt kind of loose, it moved around a little bit. No idea if this is normal. I have some cellphone pics but probably wont show anything...

Hopefully this is normal and im just paranoid

Are you having any boost related issues or did you just notice it upon inspecting it?

Just noticed it. i thought it was spiking kinda high in 3rd and 4th gear sometimes 23-24 lbs.

its only a problem if your not getting enough boost ;)
