I have seen DIYs on this. I wanna do it but I heard its a pain to take hte dash trim apart. Did you take yours out? Pictures please!

been there done that. Not hard. Can rip the trim out in less than an hour. Looks hot when it's finished

it's easy. Just look at the Bentley and take your time. There isn't anything that you can really break.......

Camera makes it look streaky. Much better in person. The couple that show the dash and door were before the door trim was done.

if you want more shine, just sand with finer sand paper and polish? no need to clear

Clear may lose some of the shine but it will protect the aluminum. If you polish the aluminum and then coat it with gloss clear and wet sand that to a shine it would be beautiful. A lot more work too though.

I thought about doing this but I always thought it would look more executive vs sporty in a brown/tan interior.. and after seeing this thread (and the brown/tan b6 in the linked thread) I think I'm still right. Looks good in black though.
