    Car looks really good.

How come you have perforated leather on the steering wheel, but not on the gear shifter?

It's so weird to see a car without the fog ducts for the SMIC now...

    thanks!

the 07 3.2 (no s line) still had the perforated 3 spoke wheel and round shift knob, but the 2.0t has the 4 spoke un perforated wheel and the other shifter. if i had the s line package the knob would have been perforated, but it isn't a big deal to me

How bout a shot of the engine?? :) I always enjoy looking at the 3.2 with is purrty aluminum valve covers and red coil packs. Makes me want to find an aluminum valve cover for my 2.0t (apparantly 07+ has black plastic one) and try to fit red coil packs from a 3.2 or s4.

I didn't know that. That's pretty nice that you got that without the S-line package though.

I don't think that the S-line would raise the insurance... It's not like it adds more power or anything. I'm not sure though...

GMC, those are rims that 3.2's came with. Well, one of the wheels.

That's weird. My insurance, Farm Bureau never asked, and mine is an S-line. I better go and make sure that's been insured correctly.

it doesn't really matter because they go by your vin#

i was told that the insurance companies think you are a more reckless driver with the s-line pack

yeah the 3 spoke is way better looking, audi started to get get cheap in 07 reserving the 3 spoke for only the s line 2.0t and 3.2, then in 2008 both 2.0t and 3.2 had the 4 spoke

It wasn't that they got cheap. They actually designed the 4-spoke wheel just for us, cuz too many 'mericans were complaining that they couldn't see the cruise control stalk with the 3-spoke wheel. They just cheaped out in other ways like making memory seats not even available on the 2.0t

thats funny, cant see the cruse

if you think about it they do save money with the 4 spoke wheel because it is the same wheel on the a4 a6 q7 and a8

I actually like the 4 spoke over the 3 spoke cause I always drive on the highway with my hand in the 6 position.

one more spoke means that they need more materials to make it so technically the 3 spoke should of been put in if they got "Cheaper"

umm i havent done it myself but am thinking about buying a new shifter nob in the future... but as for changing it i've heard its relatively simple but there is the chance of damaging a metal ring or clip which might need to be replace, but the new boot might supply one, you would have to ask them when you order it
