Hi guys I hope I can be of help I had the same problem with my Audi 2000 1.8the problem is you have to change the hazard light unit that button you push in your car it controls the turn signals also I was amazed because I taught it was a switch in the steering or some relay in the car. Any way the hazard light unit didn't cause more than $40.00 at the dealer and it is easy to change. The plastic molding that holds the hazard light switch in, I had use a dinner knife to remove the molding there are clips that hold the molding in please be careful they are easy to break, after you remove the old hazard switch plug the new one in to make sure it works your turn signals R & L sides,Good luck guys.
