    Magnaflow 16601 Installed! / Updates

I recently installed the Magnaflow 16601 catback exhaust and let me tell you... wow. I immediately noticed a power increase as well as a great deep throaty sound. I've had various docs at the hospital where I work tell me that it sounds like a big V6 / or even a v8 when I pull out of the parking lot.

I was in the market looking for a system for quite some time, and I am VERY happy with the results of Magnaflow.

So as of now my installed updates are:
    APR Stage 1+
    TT 225 Injectors
    Rikensport HID 7000K Xeons
    Kicker amp/sub setup (1 L7 and 1 500Watt mono amp)
    Magnaflow 16601 Catback System

    btw - Audi A4 2004 1.8T Quattro Premium sport 6spd.

I've ran my car on the Stage 1+ APR and injectors without a catback for almost a year and let me tell you.. after installing this catback.. wow.

Any suggestions on next modifications? Brand of DV? Snubs?

get yourself a forge 007. i have it and love it. alot of people use it on here too...

i'd get a boost gauge if you dont already have one. you can get a decent setup for around 80-100 on a few websites.

Mine got louder over a 2 week period. I don't know that I noticed any power increase, and it isn't really a catback system. With that said, I love the sound of the 16601's, i don't get why everyone recommends the 14875's or whatever they are. The 16601's are not raspy or rice burnerish at all. They are very deep and are exactly what I was looking for in the sound. I also love the large rolled exhaust tips.

Don't mean to thread jack but how does that amp/sub setup sound? I was thinking on getting that exact setup myself. And factory radio or aftermarket?

Excellent man. I've had it installed in my B5 and I just moved it over to the B6. It's just enough. It's the 2004 series I believe. I bought it off ebay refurbished.

I've had a bunch of setups in the past, and kicker is definitely my favorite.

I have the factory radio still installed. Also have the Dension ICE ipod hookup.

I have a 2008 l7 kicker sub and kicker amp with a DIY fibre glass enclosure from a4mods running off the factory amp and deck and I have to say Iā€™m more then impressed. It sounds amazing and was a breeze to install. All I had to do was run the power cable and link off the existing wiring from the stock amp. I use to have 2 12ā€ pioneer subs and this one 10ā€ sounds cleaner and louder.

You can also get the sub off Ebay for pretty cheep :D
