Real LED headlights for A6 98-on

considering I have a fogged lens, and am always willing to try new things, I would consider it.

However, since in the near future I need turbos, fueling, chip, suspension, brakes, etc....
it may have to wait. :lol:

lol i honestly dont think they will look bad. i remember reading alot of people saying how bad they would look on the b5. then someone did it and i think they look great. but thats just me

ok no i'm not ordering a set. i've got family over in the uk who would have purchased it and brought it over during the xmas holiday so i would have saved on the shipping but after seeing whats it looks like in the link above i change my mind on that.

i wont say anything untill i SEE them on C5...they still look 10x better then any DIY LEDs retrofitted in to any Audi headlights (i am not talking about bumpers and S6 DRLs)

if these would work on my 4.2 i would have ordered them already to to give them a try... but they are only for pre-facelist cars looks like

Hmm...so these lights indeed are only for Halogens. I think I'm going to order the flexible LED strip off ebay and once again break open the headlights to put the led strip in them in the same pattern as the A5...how it's flat at the bottom and then kinda swoops up toward the outsides.

I believe you can just add an hid kit to the headlight.

been that i now need new headlights, i was going to order a set but i backed out i could justify spending almost $500 on the lights then buying a HID kit on top of that so i just went with the regular headlight but i most likely going to be doing sumthing with them similar to Asix's idea.

By the way it uses H1 bulbs

There was one member on here who was interested in doing a headlight swap plus some cash, but he hasn't got back to me yet. Ideally, I'd like to trade somebody headlights because if I'm gonna have to crack open the headlights again, I'd rather just do the whole thing over again yanno?

I'm kind of interested as I have my Allroad HID headlight EU version. I want to change for a new one due to the HID lense of my Allroad Headlight is not bright enough....

By the way, I'm wondering if the LED headlight will fit our HID OEM set up or else, it is for the old version C5 with halogen light?

They may fit but, they are halogen lights. You could cram a taiwanese HID kit in there but, why dump the reliable Hella/Philips hardware?
