I have 18x8.5" BBS CH wheels with 235/40/18 tires on a B6 3.0 Quattro A4. How low can I drop the car without running into any issues? Thanks in advance.

    Very low, I assure you.

18x8.5 CH's are usually et32, so it's a moderately aggressive fitment. If you want to lower the car a lot, make sure to remove the bolt at the top of the front fenders (12 o'clock position, feel for it just inside the fender, remove the bolt and cut the plastic tab off, you'll never know the difference and the car won't rub). You can go pretty damn low no prob, but you may rub occasionally over big bumps or while corning really hard.

I think they are actually et35, but yes you shouldn't have any problems going low.

Holds up the fender liner. It stays up fine without it though.

So does anyone know if a 2" drop will cause problems?

    Re: How low?

I got Neuspeed Race Springs which advertise as being a 2" drop in the front and rear. Hopefully that isn't a problem.
