SEMA PREVIEW:
JONARI TO DISPLAY 600 HP RINSPEED CAYENNE
Jonari, the US distributor for Swiss tuner Rinspeed, will return to SEMA for 2008 with a fully tuned 957 Porsche Cayenne. Rinspeed’s X-treme aero kit for the Cayenne might just be the best looking one on the market with that massive front opening and those flared fenders. And thanks to a Rinspeed exhaust and ECU modification, the Cayenne Turbo should be pumping out close to 600hp.
Complete details on the car have yet to be released but we expect it will be fitted with Rinspeed’s stunning C5/1 wheels in either a 22x10-inch, or possibly even 23x11-inch, fitment with 295/30/22 or 315/25/23 tires at all four corners.
Inside those big wheels will be equally big Rinspeed brakes, with six-piston calipers and 16-inch rotors up front and four-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors in the rear.
According to Jon Pek at Jonari, many of the companies he distributes for (including Japanese luxury tuner WALD) will also have vehicles at the SEMA show in other booths.
