My new winter wheels are on! (Pics)

So i got my 18x8 with 35ET RS4/RS6 reps from Raderwerks the other day and went to the Audi garage today to pick up some center caps, as of now, there is no spacers on, but since its a winter setup, im not sure if im going to run them, anyways, hes a quick pic. peace

Excellent! Are those caps darker than normal? And are you wearing the winter shoes already? I forget what tires you were going to get for winter -- I ended up with Blizzaks, so hoping to delay putting them on (S4-17s) until Dec.


I like both sets -- great lip with mesh for summer, still some pizzaz in winter. Great looking car altogether.

You mean to tell us you only have one photo of the new rims??? I don't believe that for a second.

PS Still planning OCT trip that includes Morgantown, Charlotte regions en route to Charleston SC (and maybe FL). Hoping for new job to start in a few weeks or so and do road trip prior.... Not sure when, presumably in SC for 2nd weekend.... Due to the progressive effects of untreated mod fever I've contracted from exposure to AZ, I'm looking at new exhaust first -- as predicted by Frank, if I recall. Been taking vitamins but I still have the symptoms.

i really dont have any more pics on the winter wheels, lol, anyways, i have kumho SPT tires on it atm, i will get some winters around oct/nov before snow. not sure which ones yet.

and they are brand new audi caps, and yeah i have them on already.

and no H2O for me, i wanted to go but cant, i wont be in town :(

i think they both look great on any Audi , and at the time, they only had the Mten-80's in 18" , but now they make 19" , but i love them, perfect fit!

I like both wheels but agree with you on going 19's for the summer if the roads permit you too. Love your picture quality also

I like both but prefer the winter wheels. Maybe I'm partial having OEM RS6 9 spokes. I like the way they look on the c5. Good choice.

thanks guys, and thats the thing, the roads here kinda suck, but i think i can get away with 19", im not sure yet what im doing about the summer wheels, and i do like the 9-Spoke RS6's better than any other aftermarket wheels, they look so good on the car, i sometimes think maybe i should run them all year? oh well.

well im not 100% sure if im selling them yet, but a paid a little over a 1K and they are about 4 months old, so it wont be far from that.

and wofman, i do like your wheels alot, whats the name of them? and yeah its pretty much like a audi 9 spoke with a lip.

They are made by AEZ (Germany) and I think they are called "Radons" (not exactly their Marketing Dep'ts best effort) and are no longer made. I didn't get them new. They don't seem to have anything quite like it now and weak $ is probably trouble for buying from them today.

Oops -- slight setback. The A6 set in AWE's stock turned out to be an S4 set, so we're off the pace. I'm trying to get out of town for my road trip referenced before. Have to be in SC on Friday the 10th. High stakes Bocce Ball on beach has been scheduled, trash talking has already begun. Had planned on leaving NJ on 5th, but that won't happen, so itinerary now in disarray. Still planning on Morgantown (daughter) -- sometime, probably the following week. Depends....

I'm keeping mine relatively quiet, but I'm sure it will growl a bit.
