OK, long story short. Car overheated and resulted in a blown headgasket/cracked head about 2 months ago. Decided to replace engine instead, got a 62K mile engine from Shokan- turns out it has a blown headgasket. Shokan has offered to replace engine, I keep old ones (my original and the first replacement), however, I have to pay shipping $350. Or, I have mechanic pull heads- and we do head replacement. Now, I live in rural NE MO (look at my sig). What to do?

Are you tech savvy or not? Pulling heads isn't that difficult.

Why aren't they covering shipping? and WTF did somebody do to a 62K engine to pop the head gaskets?

Why do you want "new" heads if it's only the gasket that's blown? You can replace just the gaskets and be on your way. No shipping required.
