In your data log did you log your fuel requested vs actual? If so what is the difference?

Im going in on Monday for the same code. The check engine light has turned off since but my mpg is still terrible. I hope the code is still in the computer and they replace the valve.

Re: Here are the fault codes bhvdr or anyone else who can help.

I agree with folks. One problem is at least to get the manifold flappy flappy fixed. I assume theyll just replace the manifold. That may be leading to your imprecise fuel control or it may not. First get that fixed and go from there. If there is a continued fuel pressure problem then we can look at logs to see if you are really out of spec or if it is the sensor. You'll need to invoke the highest fuel demand and try and invoke low fuel pressure in order to get it in the logs though. Unfortunately a good clean run from 2000rpm to redline will likely not tell much about if you are having fuel cuts. You want to try and get on the car hard in 4th (or 5th if you live near the Autobahn :) from 2000rpm and then lift off at 3500rpm and immediately apply full throttle again and keep the pedal down to 6000rpm if you can. Basically you want to invoke a full fuel demand rapidly while the car is at a full load situation and where the pump has the most demand.

I had this fault. The dealership replaced the fuel pressure sensor and it's been fine ever since. (I vagged before taking it in just to see if they would tell me what I already knew, and they did) I don't have access to the logs on this laptop but I'll check to see if I had any of the other listed faults.
