Weird Noise

Hey guys, i started my car up and it started making this really bad scraping noise. I thought it was turbos immediately, and i took it for a test drive, and boost kicked in late, but it felt like only one side was bad. That being said, if they were turbos, i have a warranty through continental. Is there a way i can upgrade the turbos and parts that are damaged by paying the difference. If so, im located in northern virginia, and how would i do that. Thanks.

You are warming up the oil before boosting, right? You will know a blown turbo when you hear it, no question about it. I'd be looking elswhere. It's a rotating metal scrapping sound? Did you pop the hood and have a look/listen yet?

i thought if it was the turbine thats scraped up, but i tried looking but it was coming from the middle of the engine bay, and it was at night. I turned it on in the morning, no problem, i come home from work no problem, it turn it on to go out and thats when it started happening.

Hopefully that blown turbo video still works(I'm at work and can't see youtube), but that's what one sounds like.

sounds like a PS pump.. or a idler pulley IMO

That's one method of failure, I think from blown seals, but jacked up bearings will get you the loud siren.
