Any main differences between a 2005.5 S4 and a newer 06-07 S4? Thanks in advanced!

I honestly heard otherwise, until the 06' model year I was convinced they were all 50/50 torque split.

    Bingo. 05.5 50/50 split. 06+ 60/40 on 6mt and 50/50 on tips I think. This is the power distribution (60 rear/40 front).

That's pretty much the only difference I can think of other than wheels which were different each year.

    Re: Quick question...

2005.5 6MT were the first 40/60, TIP on the 2005.5 is still 50/50.

I believe the thought was to make the 6speed feel more like a rear wheel drive.

I had heard that the 05.5 6MT was the first 60/40 split too, so now we got a tie game I guess? I've asked this to different people a fair bit and I get a diff answer everytime. I just wish the owners manual or something would clearly explain it as I am an owner of an 05.5 6MT
