    Control arm questions

Any one out there now anything about the control arm kit from 034 Motorsport? I'm about to replace all my arms and want to make sure I'm not buying a bad product. I have a 99 A4 avant 1.8t.

    Thanks.

    Re: Control arm questions

I don't know anything about the specific kit they are selling, but 034 is pretty highly regarded around here so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just stay away from the meyle kits. A lot of people had them wear out really quick.

Really? I've never heard of that. Do you have any links to those stories? I'm running the meyle HD setup from ECS and haven't had any trouble for the past ~25k miles.

    Re: Control arm questions

Where did you get your Meyle arms from? 034 Motorsport does't specify which company makes the Control arms they sell.

    Re: Control arm questions

there's nothing special about the 034 control arm kit. They're OEM supplier replacement parts, and as such they're all orginal parts, they're not HD versions or anything like that. However, it's the same parts they've used on their multi-season A4 time attack car and they said they've had no failures so far.
