Default I just got a new family member! (Audi R8 pics)

So here are some poor pics taken during delivery last week. I want to take some better pics, but I have been pretty busy lately... hopefully I can take a few later. I was also wondering if anyone knows a good place to get floor mats for the R8 with an R8 logo on it. I pulled the trigger last night on a custom pair of PPI floor mats, but because PPI is in German, my CC but a stop on the purchase, and now I am second guessing calling the CC company to approve the transaction because they are charging me 500 bucks for 2 floor mats.. The only reason why I thought it was worth it is because they can match the Limestone Grey carpeting in the car (with black leather piping and the "PPI" logo in black), but maybe its worth it just to get some black floor mats and save 300 or so bucks.

Thanks... he carries PPI, so I don't think he will be able to help me on that (as the floormats I am currently getting are PPI), but I do want to buy some clear side indicators for it, if they are available, and the PPI CF paddles. I would love to buy those parts from OEMPL.US, but because of the recent decline of the Euro, it would be cheaper for me to buy directly from PPI than from OEMPL (they are offering 10% off on all parts because of the falling Euro, but the one exception is CF parts for the R8).

amazing car man congrats!, I have to say after looking at those pictures, grey is one of my new favorite colors for the r8 now. You planning to do black accents and rims on the exterior? I think that would look amazing

Yup... Daytona with CF blades is and has always been my face color combo. I just wish the car had B&O sound. Clear bra and a custom installed K40 Calibre with front and rear laser shifters/jammers have were put on at the dealer. Future/pending mods:
Custom PPI floormats
PPI CF Shifters (I think it will match the interior CF trim very well)
PPI CF center console surround
Clear or color coated front and rear side indicators (if I can find them)
Custom CF liscense plate cover with "R8" logo
Bespoke Luggage custom 2 piece luggage set
And I may install the full CF engine cover, or just a part of it

I don't plan to touch the rims (although I wish the car had Michilin PS2 tires on it), but what did you mean by black accents?

Oh, and I also may install some more PPI CF interior bits (like CF steering wheel, CF e brake cover and CF ash tray cover

Im pretty sure my friend just got his stock rims powder coated / painted gloss black and I think they look great on the R8






for the black accents- like black exhaust tips, rings, ect anything that would look good on the exterior black. I think it goes with the dark grey really well

I had B&O and although they are nicer than the standard system I felt it is wasted in the R8. I also have B&O in the new A4 and the system in the A4 is more than half of what it cost in the R8 but in terms of sound quality the A4 is stunning. I wish I didn't order that now sometimes.

well i didn't get an r8, but i got my a4 at this dealership. LoL
