    just quick question.

do I have to get the pad with sensor or I don't need to?
I guess it's time to replace pad on mine and wondering if I need to use the pad with sensor or I can just ignore and get the pad without it.

    Re: brake pad question

You can use pads without the sensor. Just jumper the plug in the current sensor or you will get a warning in the cluster.

    This should help:
StopTech's Pad Wear Sensor Installation Manual

or you can just strip and connect the wires.

    Re: brake pad question

    cool.

thanks guys. I went down to my friend's shop today and checked brake, front was totally fine so didn't need to replace.
but rear, was really bad... I had to clean everything out, because pad was stuck and wasn't moving. put new pad in (didn't get the right rotor so I have to take that back) and now it stops. and only charge e $30 to taken up one of his dock....

so I guess will save $ for the brake upgrade.....
