    Driving with "spare"

So my car is in upstate NY after a little run in with a curb. My question is, I currently have 3 aftermarket wheels (petrol vengeance) and a stocker on. The aftermarket wheels are wrapped in a BFG KW2's and the stock Avus rim has a conti sport. Is it safe to drive the car almost 300 miles to my dealer with the mis-matched rims/tires?

Also, the car still has lot of work to be back to pristine condition including a 4 wheel alignment. Will driving with 3 matching wheels and the "spare" ruin my tires?

If they're all the same size - height/width, you shouldn't have any issues... It's when you change up the wheel sizes that significant problems can occur.

How's tread life on all the wheels? Over the long haul, that could cause problems, but over 300 miles - probably not.

Nothing makes me happier than the fact that your motive is based on spite, revenge, and regret. Well done sir. A tip of the hat to you. - tankdeer

    Re: Driving with "spare"

What are the tire profile / dimensions and hte wheel dimensions?

I know that the stock 18" (split seven spoke) wheel with the stock Contis are the same ROLLING diameter as my 19" BBS CH BEs with 245/35/19 tires. if the profile of the tire goes down (low profile tire) the rolling diameter could be the same and it would be all good, no problem.

3/4 Rims (Petrol Vengeance) are 18x8 running a 235/40/ XL. I think the stock Avus has a ContiSport 235/40/18 XL. I think I should be alright, I pick up tomorrow morning and should have it at my preferred dealer before service closes at 5.

    Re: Driving with "spare"

overall diameter is the only thing you need to worry about. as long as your spare is within 4% of the overall diameter of the existing wheels you will be good.
here's a calculator that will allow you to compare different wheels:
