requested=actual boost, still not hitting 21

im fluttering around 17-19, did some runs and with vagcom and requested and actual boost are good, i was suggested a maf was the culprit...im apr 1+, does this sound right?

yes... apr's file isn't as aggressive as some others..that sounds right

i wasnt asking if my boost was right...apr does hit 21, ive done it..i was asking if the maf could be the problem

you logged and your requested boost was the same as actual boost?

you only going to get what is requested, this is based on the map they used in the flash. your MAP sensor only tells you what the pressure in the system is, it's not going to tell it to request less. but hell, i've been wrong more then once before :P

all im saying is that since the actual and request is the same...that would rule out a leak right?

yes, it would.

the ECU is using a static map to determine what the requested boost should be, i don't know exactly what this is based off of (RPM + Engine Load?) but it should not just change.

Maybe he was overboosting before?
