Excellent offering Issam. I was just thinking about this today.

Got a price for a set of long studs with both sets of nuts? That way I'm prepared for just about anything.

They are 3/4" longer so 15-20mm shouldn't be a problem.

How do you get that? It isn't like other people havent been selling the same exact length stud and they only suggest up to 8mm spacer.

The stud only has a outer thread of 1.7", that means the area that the spacer and wheel will sit on is just over 1.7".

Strange. 3/4" is 19.05mm. So the longer studs just end up protruding from the nut more?

    Correct.

Here is a picture of the 2.5" long studs I have on my car, this is with OZ wheels and no spacer. Been running them on my car for over 3 years.

Re: *** Wheel Stud and Nut Kit ***

the oz wheels require lugs that are about 10mm longer then stock from what i remember. I had 10mm spacers on my wheels and they looked like mikes set up with 2-3 threads past the nuts. I have the "man set" from mike.

Well every wheel is going to have a different thickness. Best to measure from the back of the wheel to the top of the nut with it in the hole.

Re: *** Wheel Stud and Nut Kit ***

Must be the thickness of the OZ wheels. My BBS had a much shorter bore.

A lot of track tech inspections require that there are a few threads showing through open nuts.

Same with drag racing when the car runs so fast. I wish I could find some that were longer but the only ones I can find that are longer have to be installed from the back of the hub.

I dont know anyone that produces a 3" thread in stud, the longer ones have to be installed from the back of the hub. This means removing and drilling out the hubs to install them.

I figured that:( No spacers just gets by, I think they change the hole depth from the SL to the UL.

You've got 3-4 threads showing. My TSW Hockenheims (Merc fitment) only have 1-2 showing. The short studs just wouldn't have worked at all.

Well the shorter set are really only good for the stock wheels, even 034 states that on their site. Most people are going to end up ordering the longer set seeing that they will work for stock and aftermarket wheels.

I think I am ready! Long studs + ball seat. Saves the hassle with the winter and summer wheels & having to keep changing bolts when I put the spacers back on for the winter wheels.
