The AZ TT channel will never jump like Audiforums TT channel does. It's mostly adverstising here interspersed with a few actual posts by n00bs. Once folks hear about Audiforums they go there.

AudiForums has a decent TT Forum? I thought only AW did. The problem is, the TT (like the A3) just isn't as popular as the A4 and S4 with enthusiasts. Especially ones that are on forums. So there just aren't enough to go around and really get the various forums jumping like with the A4 and S4 Forums.

Re: yo TT f*ckers lets get this forum hopping!!

Audiforums.com has a very busy TT community. I was there for quite a while before I discovered AZ. Since I have two B6 cars and the fact that the TT forum on audiforms.com is kinda teenage-ish I have made my home here.

The B6 forum here is kinda too young for my tastes as well. I don't care about how low I can slam my car or if I can find a hybrid DV that makes a ricey "whoosh." I am more into the S4/RS4 postings, but I do check into this channel as well as the B6 channel from time-to-time.

Yes I checked it out, and it seems to get some decent traffic. Maybe the busiest section in that forum, if you break down the A4 sections and look at them individually.

As for our B6 A4 Forum, and the topics being discussed, this is part of the reason we implemented the B6 A4 Tech Talk subforum. It's just a matter of you [more mature and tech oriented] guys using it as intended.

Re: yo TT f*ckers lets get this forum hopping!!

AZ uses the newer forum style (PHP), but there is decades more experience working the TT on AW Forum then on AudiForums and AZ combined. I hang out at both (yo C!), but AW is my home turf for TT info.

I don't love the AZ format, but the users there are very knowledgeable and more on the mature side. Complete sentences and all that.. lol

Re: yo TT f*ckers lets get this forum hopping!!

So how is the TT scene??? I just got rid of my WRX because I feel the evo/subaru is the next honda scene here around where I live in SoCal, since there is more used evo/subies available. Anybody have some pros/cons about the community? Is the TT mod friendly?

The TT is mod friendly...its just a question of how fat your wallet is. Subies n evos dont require much cash to get more power, while its almost the opposite for Audis, or euros for that matter. If you were interested in the TT, i'd stick with the 225 quattro instead of the 180.

Rocket - what kind of power do you get on TT225 with GIAC, downpipe improvement with free flow cats and 2.5 catback, intake mod? What would it take to get a TT into the 350hp+ range? Don't see anything on this forum about power improvements or specs achieved. Same mods as some folks do with A4s? Are there limitations with the all wheel drive used on TT (not really quattro, right?)?
