Has anyone rolled their front fenders ?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So, last night my Cos went in and I went for low real low (3" from the ground, and Is going to be even lower for H2o).

I'm tucking a good amount of the front tires, and with the 10mm it rubs pretty bad, but looks perfectly flush, with no ridiculous camber, so I was wondering ... what if I roll my front fenders ?

I can always go with a smaller spacer, but it wont look as good, plus I have a roller available.

    so any input ?

    He only did the rears.

The S4 guy cant go as low as I am with those wheels, he would sit on the tires.

I genuinely believe that by stretching it just a tinny bit I can get away with it without rubbing even driving like I some times do. Just wondering if someone has done it before successfully.

    hmmm idea!!!

lets take ur rims, and shave off i tiny (maybe like 1/2 inch) of the back side of the rim... smaller rims, less rubbing, problem solved

before i get owned by everyone i want to go ahead and say that this is a joke,, purely for entertainment purposes, vic who knows me more then anyone else here can atest that im nuts, but not that nuts

Re: Has anyone rolled their front fenders ?

I think the problem is, is that the rolling would get rid of the rim where the fender liner is attached to?

I'm not 100percent but I think it would. I know rolling the fenders would help alot, but I don't know if removing the fender liner is such a hot idea...

Are you rubbing on that screw or actually on the fender. There is a tiny screw at the top of the fender to hold the liner in. try to check if that's where your rubbing, and if so, remove the screw and put the liner under the fender rather than above it, and replace it with a countersunk (instead of round (pan) head screw), it'll give you some clearence

Re: Has anyone rolled their front fenders ?

I took the screws out, but what I would like to do is to flatten the lip that holds the liner and maybe flare up the fender just a bit, because all I need is a few more mm ( 3-4 at most ) to clear and not ride on the tire.
