    CEL - System too Lean

    I had a leaky valve cover gasket, and not long after replacing it I got this:

    17544 - Fuel Trim Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean
    P1136-35-10 --- Intermittent

    I get some hesitation under hard acceleration, especially going uphill

    I have the PES T28 kit, 2.25" borla exhaust, carbonio CAI

    What should I do? Thanks.

    Boost/vac leak would be the first thing I would check

    The MAF has never been replaced as far as I am aware.

    most likely MAF. Got that a while back, swapped a new one in...presto...fixed.

    I have a pes tune as well and when i got that code it was a vacuum leak...

    My MAF @ idle = ~3.5 g/s. Is that a normal reading?

    The problem turned out to be bad wiring to the MAF. Also, the ICM wasnt bolted down properly due to it having to be relocated because of the carbonio CAI.
