noob here, need some help

I have a 2004 s4 completely stock with about 83k on it. It runs great but when I start it up in the morning the engine makes a rattling noise as it turns over. It almost sounds like somethings loose but since it only occurs during cold starts I'm afraid it's a little more complicated than that. Otherwise the car runs great, if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it, thanks.

If you do a search, this is actually normal. If you take it to the dealer, they will find nothing wrong.

It's just the hydraulic lifters pumping up. Completely normal.

thanks for the replies, just got the car a couple weeks ago and I didnt think i heard the noise in the beginning, i think im just trying to find something wrong with it while its still on warranty haha, -thanks again
