Hi All,

If you want to improve the looks and seating position in your A3, these factory Recaro buckets from the new TTS are a great addition. They are black leather with Brilliant Black backshells.

Condition is 9/10 for them. One seat has a scratch in the rear shell, but we would recommend painting them to match your car anyway.

Price is $5750 for the set and they fit A3, TT and R8.

Used Porsche Gt3 Carbon Fiber/Leather seats are only $2000 used for a pair..

But it is nice that your seats fit in without any brackets

OEM parts ain't cheap guys, especially when shipped over from Europe. You all have Audis, you should know this.

Or maybe it's because I used to import this stuff, so I'm a bit more knowledgeable than some...

Very nice seats but just a little out of most of our leagues, you'd probably find more positive feedback from an R8 or TT buyer than here considering stage 3 on our cars is the price of these used.

Seriously though, I've been around the car tuning scene for a longtime. I've imported rare parts directly from Japan, though never from Europe. I can't ever remember two seats costing that much money?? I mean, Lorinser and other extremely high-end bodykits I have seen go for over 10K but seats?? Hell, you can go to Recaro and order something very close in looks, wrap them in fake leather(maybe even real), and get some seat brackets mocked up for A WHOLE LOT LESS then $5k.
I swear I'm not trying to flame OEMPL.US, just expressing my opinion on a public forum.

The CF ones are replicas however and crap... they break and can actually kill you in a wreck... real GT3 seats are worth more around $10k a seat, however since nobody will pay that they can be found for much cheaper. This price is actually a decent deal for these, keep in mind youll have to repaint the backs since theyre scuffed up.

That's a load. Euro-spec Audis are available just south of the border.

Oh yeah, the yet-to-be-released in North America TTS is available in Mexico/South America!? Tell me more! Rich is one of the most stand-up honest guys in the biz. No loads here. If the pricing on these OEM seats scares you, you oughta hear what it cost me to get the European bumpers for my car.

Did I say that? There are Audis available south of the border while not in the US. So it goes with getting parts for those Audis. You really think importing them yourself is the cheapest that a person can do? Get over it.

I'm not saying the cost wasn't what it was actually paid, but I'm pretty sure it's not the cheapest that those seats can be had.

Yeah I guess you're right, one could always get stolen/black-market parts. They'd be cheaper. But, call me crazy, I prefer to deal with stand-up legit supporters of our community.

just throwing this one out there, mexico gets all the european seats, steering wheels and pretty much everything on their cars, just saying i lived there so i would know, but these seats are really nice and even though they are really expensive id love to see someone buy these for less. if you do please let me know where

I like OEMPLUS. THey have helped me many times to find difficult parts and provide good service. Just for comparison, the above seats at the Euro conversion rate would total 3000 bucks. I don't know what the shipping costs would be but just another option.

these seat are worth something in this range anyways, like i said before anyone who gets these seats for cheaper let me know because from what i know your looking to pay around the same thing for rs4 seats or any european recaros
