Abs control module?

So I have been getting rough road cel's for the past month. I had the abs module replaced today and we are having some problems. when we started the car the abs light was on ran it on vag and it said that the right front speed sensor has an open circut. I check, its plugged in, pulled it out cleaned it off and cleared the codes. When we start it up same problem the code is still there. Now I may be wrong but wouldn't you have to drive the car to get that code, it hasn't moved at all. Also I never had the code before. We even put the old abs module back in with no code appearing.

You can get em from ebay, you can also get them rebuilt by a guy on the fourms.

well no i ask because I got mine rebuilt from Module Masters and have had it working the second I put it in... highly recommend them

Got it brand new from the dealer I had one that module masters would not repair 5.0 bosch.

YOu should put at least 5 miles on the car b4 you worry too much

well I drove the car today tried to clear the codes with no avail. No one can figure it out at the 2 shops that it has gone to, so its at the dealer now. They can't even figure it out they say they are going to have it over night.

what year do you have... ? I have a 2000 and it worked great.. just wondering you don't have anything in your sig haha

I have a 2000. I found out that I do have the 5.3 bosch so I guess I'm going to send it off to module masters. I had it at the dealer they couldn't figure it out either. They sent me home with a 3rd new module if I get the same code I will just return the module. The dealer check the logs for the sensor and it came back good. I'm lost on this one

So I just got my abs module back from module masters and I am still getting the rough road codes what else could it be.

I was getting the same code because of a misfire and a boost leak. something you may want to check into. but then again that is just me and i am having the worst luck with my s4.
