    Clutch gone?!?!?!

Hey guys I was wondering if someone can shine some light on my problem.

So the other day I was driving home and as I was switching gears from 2nd to 3rd (not that it matters much) and my clutch peddle all of a sudden just stuck to the floor (pressure was gone) and I was unable to put my car in gear. When I got home I pulled the clutch peddle up and tried to put the car in gear but it's still not letting me. I haven't got any clue of what's wrong with it, if someone can tell me what may be the problem, I would really appreciate it..

    Thanks.

    Re: Clutch gone?!?!?!

clutch master or slave is bad. They some times have an internal leak, so when you push the pedal down, the fluid is pushed out, but since there is a leak pressure cant be made. resulting in your pedal not coming up.

Im not sure where ur master is, but i would check the lines going from the reservoir to your master and then to the slave. There has to be a crack or break somewhere. It is rare for something just to fail right away. Im having problems with my clutch and guessing its the master. hopefully since i bought it new already lol.

good luck trouble shooting and let us know wat you found.

My dad suspected that it may have been a leak but was not 100% on it.

roughly how much would it cost to fix or for a new master clutch cylinder?
