i wanted my rear calipers power coated. know my question is do i have to remove the brake piston? i really don't want too. Now if it is removed is it as simple as popping it back in or do i have to buy some sort of rebuilt kit for the piston.

you would just need to compress the piston and remove the hydraulic line, be sure not to get any air in the line and bleed when you put them back on, or just tape everything off and spray, thats what i did and it looks good in gunmetal

Just paint the calipers... OEM's not really worth powder.
