My name's Ian and I go by bassed on the forums. I'm new on here and figured I'd post the story of my dirty little whore Eleanor.
2001.5 Audi A4 1.8T QMS Stock --->Stg1--->Stg2+--->Stg3--->Stg3+BT--->Stg3+BAT
I've had this car for a good stint now and she's been around the block a couple times. I picked her up about 5 years ago certified and pre-owned oddly enough with a Borla V1 exhaust. I drove her as she was, did a few little things like painting the lowers....

Then adding the obligatory Rieger RS4 Bump Skin....

About a year later I up right got the desire to move out to California while I still had the opportunity. I packed up and moved to Tahoe for 2 record seasons....
On the drive out there I had some fun

Qite a bit of getting BDFT when living in Tahoe.

Ran this siggy over on AW for a while;)

And then I decided to move back East, where I was able to see some more of scenic America....

Drive over the Hoover Dam on snows:confused:

Peep the "Painted Desert"

I get back East and since moving back 2+ years ago have not stopped this never ending project.
I took a job outside of A.C. when I moved back and was designing Casino's and living out of good old Cape May when I first moved back east. While down there I threw a pair of Adjustable Koni's with Eibach Springs and a Pair of Valeo Ecodes on her, to compliment the GIAC X-Program I had been running. I had also decided to put my grandfathers Europlate on from his time living in the UK.

While down in South Jersey I took full advantage of the lack of population in the off season and pulled off some fun shots.....

I moved back up to Pennslyvania for another job and to make commuting to Drexel for my second degree a bit easier on myself and the car. I thought a BT daily driver would be nice so I picked up a 2860rs (Disco Potatoe) and Greddy FMIC and all associated hardware and a PES GT28file for my car, but tradgedy struck at 34.28 psi and zee rods, zay just could not take it. There's actually a whole story behind this, but it's in the past and that's where it will stay.

Well after throwing 3 rods I pretty much went ballz out. I figured it would be like a new car in the end, so why not right? The project was born and dubbed "Projekt B5"

Step 1: Order a brand new fully built 2.0L from 034 Motorsport and Eurospec....

Step 2: Custom Fabrication done by Nothing Leaves Stock....

Step 3: Custom Fabrication meets new motor....

Step 4: Break in new motor and see what problems develop/arise.
Lesson learned ATP products blow. Repetitive loss of studs, shearing of nuts and the general fit of the ATP Manifold when coupled with anything smaller than a 3071 = PITA not worth dealing with.

So we try POS Tubular Manifold a shop called DTR had lying around and frankly should have thrown in the dumpster.

I have the lower molding pins I had pulled filled and a shaved thing going on, well kinda it drove around like this for a month until the POS Manifold cracked again....

I get the car back from getting the shaved looked finally sprayed, the roof done in Black Magic Pearl and Stasis Track Sport Coilovers being installed at 4:00 am the day I'm supposed to Dyno her for the first time......

After months of cracking this POS and not having a running car very often along with the manifold cracking after 1 hr on the road and going to Dyno as mentioned above. A couple weeks later I get a message from a good friend telling me to look at a new Exhaust Manifold on the market for the B5. I look, I call and I buy this wonderful piece made by SPA TURBO and will need to find a new T3 Flange Snail to work with this bad boy....

I then send this manifold to Swain Tech for ceramic coating. But by this time I had teamed up with Strasse and we put the wheels in motion for a right propa build....

This is the point where Projekt B5 goes from Phase 1 of a running on occasional build to Phase 2
where we smack my bish up again and do the damn thing right.
