96 2.8 passenger side axle

I used search for a good 45min.. Can someone please help me out on the part # for a 1996 a4 2.8 passenger side axle.. My car has been sitting at the shop for about 3 weeks now because the moron keeps ordering the wrong axle. The one he keeps receiving comes up about a foot short of the rotor. I'm suppose to drive to Virginia Tech this Thursday, so any help is much appreciated.

Does he know how to install an axle? Turn the wheel left or right and it should get to the point where you can bolt it on. Do you have the old axle there? Match it up with the new one to see if it's the same size.
