B7 A4's with DPE Wheels - Anyone have them?

So I'm pretty close to getting a set of DPE wheels (20") and I was wondering if any guys on here have bought them. I've searched AZ and seen s4's/rs4's/and b6 a4's have them but not any B7's.

Would I be the first? Give me some insight on what you guys think of their quality, finish, and such. I love HRE but I'm getting a great deal (can't speak specifics) and I don't want to pass these up.

overall quality is pretty good, i went through a few good size potholes and they came out unscathed.

Customer support experience that I had was really good. I had a minor issue with the caps decal peeling and they took care of it right away and sent me a new set.

I'd say the only complaint for me is the clearcoat started peeling about 3 months in on couple of the wheels. Also - it took a while for the wheels to be finished. 6-8 weeks is more like 9-12 wks to be exact but that's usually the way it is with custom wheels with my previous experiences.

How did they resolve the issue with the centercaps (I might need a new pair since these are used) and did you get the finish fixed?

I am running DPE S-5s on my B7 for almost a year now with no complaints. They are going in to get re-finshed at the end of November. Being re-finished due to some curbrash and I am going to get the barrels re-done in black.

i emailed their customer service and explained the situation and they just sent me a brand new set of centercaps (which i received the next day - totally unexpected).

with the clearcoat - I got busy with work so it's still unresolved. hardly noticeable and minor unless you stare at it so it's not bugging me all that much.

I'm a little bored with the current color I have right now so I'm most likely going to take the extreme route and just have it all repainted with a new color locally.

The only complaint I have is that the stem is located on the inside of the barrel. Very asthetically pleasing but PITA to add air.

I feel you on the stem location- same thing for my Mayas. So what did you pay for your set if you don't mind me asking?

I've had GT7's for 2 years. They are solid rims in my opinion.

Before getting a good deal on my wheels was considering DPE. Definately a quality wheel

Only issue I've had is the polished lips are a bitch to clean but that can be said for any wheel. So no, I have not had any problems!
