Need help... ebay keyfob info needed

does anyone know how much it cost to get a new set of keys from the dealer or is there another way to get them like used set of keys reset for my car or is the dealer the only way. FYI i was quoted $400 for each key; is this correct?

Not sure on the cost, but I know it costs and they are the only ones who can recode them. I believe you can pick up a used set for them to recode though. GL

if I recall the key was about $130 and they charged another hour for programming at $128/hour

if you do find a blank somewhere (ebay or one of the forums) just make sure that your dealer will program the key if you bring it in, some won't program them unless you buy them from their shop.

ok i found a bunch on ebay but a few ?
1- do i need the part # to match it with my car?
2- where do i find the part # on my key to match it with the key on ebay?
3- could i get a new uncut b7 keyfob model programmed for my car (05 b6)?

need answers ASAP before i buy it on ebay now.
