I just installed a ebay fmic about a week ago. My question is it sopposed to make a loud whistling/ sucking in noise when boosting? All my clamps are on tight I made sure of that. I will post a video later!

    Re: fmic question

i had the same thing, and i had people tell me that its because the piping is aluminum that you hear air rushing.... bottom line is somewhere, you are losing air... i had the FMIC for like 3 months before I got out of it because it was so annoying haha. But no, you shouldnt hear and kind of whistling. check the silicon connectors for any rips, if you used T bolts, if you over tightened you could of bent the pipes etc.

No it's not suppose to. But does it boost fine? Might want to pressure test as leaks/blowing off hoses are common with this setup.

    Re: fmic question

Check the chinese ic core for leaks, to do this u will have to measure the psi before the cooler and then after, if its more then 3-4psi i would send the cooler back
