Was moving to Vegas, but now I am moving to Colorado

My Fiance and I were moving to Vegas, but somethings came up.

Her family lives in longmont and they have been begging us to move there. So we are making the move the beggining of next month (around the 5th)

Im pretty excited about moving there rather than vegas. One thing is i snowboard almost every day of the winter (or as much as i can) so im stoked to go ride during the winter.

Only problem we are having now is finding her a job. So if anyone knows of anything that is a solid job, please let me know. She has years of sales experiences as well as management. She was a project manager for a developer and sales manager at mortgage company as well. so any hooks ups would help!

also I will be able to help anyone in the denver area with installs.

any particular type of employment she is looking for? I am looking for new employment myself and have a pretty good idea what is out there currently.

Broomfield/Boulder is a nice idea and close enough to Longmont. I agree I would stay away from there (hehe). My GF lives in Boulder and now I spend most of my time there. I like it quite a bit...a nice change of pace from Denver for sure, and only 30 min away (or 20 depending on time/driving habits).

If you need any other adivce about the area, dont hesitate to ask.

We are supposed to have another great snow season. Oh yeah, you will be able to hit the slopes by mid October Go get a season pass. Colorado Pass is $449 and gets you unlimited at Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin (first to open), and 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek. The Super Pass is Copper Mtn, Winter Park, and 6 days at Steamboat for $439. I personally would go with the Colorado Pass... Oh, and get ready for a super slow car when you drive up to the slopes lol ;)

I also would not live in boulder! When classes are in session be prepared to deal with tons bull shit. If you want to live around the area I would check out Superior/Louisville area. Have you guyd thought about living in Golden? Great little area with a lower key university and good access to the mtns

Boulder is cool and beautiful but a ripoff for sure. Money magazine rated Fort Collins as the 2nd best city to live in in the United States this year and it costs half as much to live here. FTC FTW!

Best beer in the country. Fort Collins is a very clean and safe town with a good down town scene. Thus the reason I have never left. Just takes that extra hour to get to the central resorts though.

I70 sucks ass regardless between December-March. Anymore I find myself going backcountry snomoshredding more up north instead of going to the central resorts between those months if I'm riding on the weekend. Traffic on I70 is just not worth it to me. I only drive up that stretch during the week pretty much. If you leave on the weekends before 6am to go up and leave the resorts before 1:30pm then traffic is tolerable.

For sure i-70 sucks, but if wanna go ride and you work all week it's gotta happen. And definitely go for the Colorado pass, 5 of the best mtns in the state for 1 price.

It really depends where in Littleton. I'd just look for something south of C470 if you want to find something that's newer...

yea, it is nice to just cruise... but now i can ride my bike because ill live in cherry creek and work there now also.
