anyone have 6.5" speakers in the front doors?

my 5.25s where hard enough to fit, I think you can, but you'll need to spend some time with fiberglass and mdf

I almost put some 8" speakers in there a few weeks ago. 6.5" is easy with a little custom work, 5.25" is easy as is.

there was a sweedish guy on vortex who made custom pods for 6.5

i installed 6.5 in front in my MKV Jetta, which you guys know that the speakers are at the rear part of the door, i had to cut off whole bottom part of the door panel, and replace it with fiberglass piece

also don't wait until winter to do it, its going to get very messy and time consuming, just put 5.25 and 6.5 in rear doors save yourself a lot of hassle
