VAD Mobile. The one that Adam was offering was the older version of VAD Mobile. The new one is supposed to have more features and a more complete car database.

I would also be interested in a mount for the Palm IIIc. Right now it sits on my passenger seat but once I hit boost it flys back in the seat and disconnects sometimes.

It looks like ProClip doesn't offer anything for the IIIc though

Check out Bracketron mounts. They are universal suction cup mounts with adjustable and mounts. The arms can be widened or narrowed depending on what you are trying to mount, they slide up and down, and the entire head rotates. Comes on a gooseneck attached to a suction cup base. I have never had the suction cup come loose. I bought it for about $30 at Best Buy or Circuit City. I have used it for my GPS, my Dell Axim X50v, and now my Blackjack II - all completely different sizes.

i also noticed that at the base of the cable where you plug it in to the car there is a light. but this light doesn't come on. is it supposed too? does that mean my cable is bad?

Yes that light should come on when you plug it in. Should flicker during data transfer also (depending on the cable). It should illuminate even if the PDA isn't plugged into the other end. Buy a replacement off eBay for like $6 bucks and try that.
