    S4 tip Tanny in A4 1.8t tip??

    So b4 everyone says WTF and "Why are you doing that just go manual!". I have a fucked up tranny,i leave for school in 2 days, i live in new york and the school is in pennsylvania. I have barely enough to pay for the auto tranny and i wouldn be able to pay for a whole swap. So i am just asking will the s4 auto switch into the A4 1.8t tip?? Cause i need a tranny that wont blown when i continue to get upgrades for my car!!!! please anyone its in dyer need!!!

    not worth it IMO. It is the same transmission that is in the 1.8. the input torque ratings are the same between the 1.8 and the 2.7 transmissions at 310Nm

    I think the final drive ratios are different meaning you have to swap the rear diff too.
