CAI & DV Questions...

Ok...I am completely new to this so please have patience. I am looking to get a Carbonio Intake. I was told that I should also invest in Forge Diverter Valve. Is this true? What exactly does the DV do and what are the benefits of having it? Thanks for your help!

forge dv maybe. But I wouldn't because you have an 08 A4 so you should have the updated version of the stock dv in which case your fine if your stock. When and if you get chipped, maybe get the forge dv. the cai is a waste of money. Just get a k&n filter if that.

would you recommend the drop in or the cone filter?

drop in filter. cone if you make a good heat sheild.

I dont think either of those will do anything for you that you'll notice. Just get the chip. Then the Forge DV. then the CAI....

go buy a chip and a k and n cone filter. save your money on the other stuff. youll get the power and sound you need with these two. then, if your dv goes, let them replace it.
