I just finished my first day at Foothill College and I saw some pretty sick Audis (B6 Nogaro S4 , and a few avants) I was wondering if any of you guys are on here.

Berkeley or UCLA hopefully. More realistically UCSD or UCI.

It all depends on what you're trying to study. Berkeley is pretty good if you're looking for business or engineering...or just about anything haha(I'm biased). Let me know if you have any questions about the school. I'm about to be a senior at Cal.

I'm studying business right now. Berkeley's econ department is pretty prestigious since there are lots of baller professors and lecturers.

I was talking to my friends about Cal the other day, and they were saying that everyone is extremely competitive about grades, and heard myths such as: "If you ask for help, people will purposefully give you the wrong answer." However my friends don't go to the school. Does that stuff really go on? Or are they just myths?

You have the assholes wherever you go. I am personally not friends with anyone who is like that, but I can see where people might get that impression. I have never heard a story about someone purposely giving the wrong answers to fuck someone over...since that would lead to them being ostracized. Berkeley is competitive, but there are a lot of great people (hard not to have good people out of 40,000 undergrads).

We have a great campus and a lot of history to go along with it. Crazy stuff goes on, like the tree sitters that I used to walk by every single day to go to class.

I love Cal, but if you've ever wanted to live in SoCal and have never had the chance, college is probably the time to do it.

Thanks for the info. I would love to go to Cal and I'll see if get in. My GPA is 3.8 and I was on the golf team this year.

If you could score UCSD I'd jump all over that. College is supposed to be fun right? ;)
I went to Cal Poly, SLO and had a blast. I could only imagine myself @ UCSD.... haha

UCLA is supposed to be pretty bomb too...Cal and UCLA would be my top picks. SD is a big commuter school so you get a lot of people who aren't really into the whole college life thing (which is key to having a good time).
