Where can I buy RS4 Reps in Canada? VMR sold here?

Just looking for a set of winter wheels. I'd like to put 18" VMR RS4 reps on my car, or something very similar to keep it looking stock. Anyone know if VMR wheels are sold here? If not, anyone know of other reps that are nearly as nice?

They do carry hartmanns, but I don't think there is a VMR in Canada, not sure.

RPI is where mine came from and i couldn't be happier.

You can call them to find a local distributor. I got a set from my local tuner shop (Auto Sport Club in London, Ont), and they were able to just order them in. They look fairly nice. Not awesome, but nice. Cost me about $200 a rim, which for winter is about as good as you can hope for.

Also my experience with RS4s (reps) is the design makes them pretty brittle. I managed to trash two of them after two summers, by hitting a bad pothole. It bent the hubs so bad they couldn't be trued up again. So, be careful where you drive if they're your winter rims...

Yeah I bought them on here at a wicked wicked price, they are vmr reps and they are amazing qaulity I love them. LOL the brakes are in there somewhere you just have to look really hard :P

I wasn't very clear...it was $700 for the set (USD) = $730 CDN. Then it was about $230 to ship them to Toronto. THEN it was $40 in brokerage charges and $130 in taxes....the $400 I referred to was the shipping cost. Total was $1130 for wheels that were originally $700. Crap deal! Unfortunately those exact wheels aren't sold anywhere here directly. I've been trying to find someone on here or AudiWorld in the classifieds. No shortage of sellers, but shipping 4 wheels is a right pain. Hopefully someone in Buffalo will show up with a set to sell!

A bit off topic, but do you ever scrape the USP front driving around Vancouver? I'm a tad worried since I'll have the cupra splitter as well and i'm running H&R springs....

Well They're 350 or more per wheel Canadian if you buy them here so I would say its still quite a good deal... Definitely not "crap". There are lots of places that sell reps... I got my R8's at megawheelz in Mississauga and I am impressed with the quality so far. Shop around if you don't want to pay for the VMR's.

I offered to pay VISA and have them shipped to a tire shop in Niagara Falls, NY so I could go, get my snow tires mounted, and throw the wheels on down there but someone at VMR said no.

??? a 55% premium just for shipping does make it crap, thank you very much. Not VMR's fault...just is what it is (thanks to CDN taxes). That shop in Vancouver is just exploiting this fact, and is even charging MORE than it costs to ship them up here! They're insane. (p.s. you linked to the most expensive colour in 19" rather than 18"...hypersilver/gunmetal in 18" is $325+gst/pst - still insane.)

You are not changing it. You are simply adding a 2nd alternate shipping address to the credit card name. It takes 5 mins. Call the 1800 # on the back of the card to do it.

Thanks, buddy! I'm on 02 stock sport suspension, which presumably has a taller ride height than your H&R springs do. I didn't do the splitter because I knew I would damage or even destroy it in winter if I did the splitter. I have to drive up to the mountains everyday.


To OP: If you are set on RS4 reps, VMR is the way to go. As Charles pointed out earlier, VMR's are the most aggressive-looking among all RS4 reps on the market. Finish is awesome. They are very strong as well.

Winter's coming up in a month or two, so we'll see what happens. I'm expecting a colder/harsher winter up there this year.

My suggestion to you is that for a few hundred bucks more you might as well get height-adjustable CO's, so you can slam it in summer and lift it up for more ground clearance in winter.
