Are all snub mounts created equal?

My car is in the shop now getting my new Southbend Clutch installed plus a few minor things, thought I would have them do the Snub mount while it's there.

    Recommendations - APR, ECS etc...

x2 on this... I'm between the Neuspeed and Apikol and Stern... I really like my Neuspeed stuff... Not too much feedback on the Apikol (looks like APR) or the Stern.

Apparently my previous APR snub mount wasn't equal to the rest. It shattered into like a hundred pieces and fell slowly out of the engine bay, bit by bit. This new one is holding up though. Also APR (wanted to get it done as quickly as possible and another APR one was the quickest solution). I would go with ECS if I did it over again though just because of the good things I've heard.

FWIW....I installed the ECS snub mount about 2 weeks ago. Like everyone else, I had read thread after thread raving about what a difference it makes. Most said the same thing: the more robust aftermarket snub smooths out the choppy slow-speed driving characteristics of the S4. Especially in 1st-2d-3rd gears. Maybe my expectations were too high because I don't really notice any difference at all. As a result, I have come to the conclusion that I must suck at driving the 6spd.

Haha dont worry - I didnt notice that much a difference either. I never really had an issue with the 1st - 2nd anyways.
