I did my 034 motor mounts the other day and a new snub too. I had said in a previous thread that the car didn't feel to bad but I knew they needed to be replaced. Well the car feels so smooth now. Before it was hard to shift the car and make it feel smooth and I rekon this is why.

The mount in the picture is from the passenger side of the car. It was not ripped in half when I got it out of the car but is was 65% the way there. So I ripped it all the way around and use it on the weekends now.

exactly what it was like for me. i knew i had a mount blown because of the red goop all over the belly pan, but i didnt think the car felt that bad. i ordered up some 034 street density mounts and it make a drastic improvement. ive got to get some of those for my new a4...
