3.0 A4 performance parts for sale at H2O?

What could we expect to see for sale specifically for the 3.0 A4 other than aesthetic mods?

Good luck getting fabricators attention with a post... I've tried everything! The thing though is that with this V6 engine, we share in common, really isn't mod friendly enough for the companies to notice.. PES has there over priced 6k+ supercharger, ummm you can do things like RS4 sway bar, umm.. NOS (althogh unless you want to pay 5k to have your engine constanly rebuilt I wouldn't do) I am actually quite happy with my 3.0 stock... I have a thing here and there but nothing compared to those die-hard 1.8t people have... If you really want to have fun modding trade it for a 1.8t or the s4 4.2L... Otherwise get like all of us 3.0'ers and get the cosmetic attention haha :)

There arent much products for the 3.0. I only have seen an exhaust system, intake, and the PES supercharger.

so much wrong with that post....

the 3.0 is as mod friendly as any other engine - you just haven't exploited it as a whole community yet. the first few people are doing their thing, and im sure more will follow.

yes it's expensive... that comes with any increase in displacement. there's more to mess with, and it'll cost more money. think about how much it costs to mod the b5s4 --- shit, have you seen what a 4.2FSI supercharger from MTM costs?

(or what it costs to boost any V8 for that matter)

nitrous won't destroy your engine, nor will a simple rebuild (rings, bearings, light head-work, rebalancing things if necessary, and maybe upgrading rods) cost you 5 grand. you just have to know what you're doing with said nitrous, and have the appropriate engine setup.

you're right about modding a 1.8T being easier and cheaper, and "technically" being a better option for modification. dead wrong on the 4.2L s4... DEAD wrong.

that's about it... i just hate mis-information floating around.
(this is for everyone, not just you) do your reasearch about things you can do with the 3.0... do research on other engines. see what's big. see what's new. talk to people with more expereince than you. get a plan. AND THEN FOLLOW THROUGH.

your car can be whatever it wants to be, and there's no reason that a 3.0L a4 can't hang with or overpower most of the 1.8T's out there.

back on topic - you might find exhaust, chip tuning (idk if anyone is flashing on site or not), intakes, and suspension floating around...

hell, if you REALLY wanna make some power, give 3.0King or one of those other 3.0 gurus a shout and ask about what you can do with a set of 2.7T manifolds...

yup, sums it up. Just to add, sc kit can be had for 3-4k. To make more power than 330-350 chp, you need to build the bottom end. Period.

the 3liter is no mans land. my guess is, no performance mods for the 3.0 will be present at this years H20 or have there been or will there be any mods for the 3liter ever!...lol its always been about the 1.8t and s4. soon we will have two 3.0 killaz on the road lets hope these two spawn something for the 3liter crowd.

what about something as simple as an intake, or exhaust? also...if the company is there who makes the product, could you order something and have it shipped at the sale price?
