"Getting Towed" Pics Thread

Thought this would be interesting...post up your reason for tow and pic.

reason: two coils went out getting on the interstate to go get my broken window regulator fixed before the rain (i don't carry extras) covered under warranty. (second time in the same week to be towed in to dealer)

Not an Audi, but this was my wife's 5-spd V6 Camry before she traded it in last month on an MDX.

She filled it with diesel (all the while wondering why the gas pump wouldn't fit in the hole right...). To her credit, she realized what happened before she started the car, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Had it towed right out of the gas station.

^^ classic, on a side not my mother had the same car. i took it once to cross the canadian border and blew the fucking 2.2L doing 110-115 in ontario. fun, tow truck cost me 500 to toronto where I lived at the time.

I'm down! Coolant leaks suck.. The thermostat exploded the seal and cap thingy off! It scare the hell out of me!

my gti, i didnt get any of my audi getting towed when the charge pipe blew off. I would of just put it back on but i was on the highway.

HaHaHa. I think I might have one of the most interesting "tow stories."

The original reason for being towed was because of a busted crankcase breather hose, but the end result was much more gruesome. The body shop that my insurance had install my USP front (longer story) installed the bumper wrong and busted the passenger-side strut that threads the tow-eyelet. Halfway up the flat bed I heard a ripping noise and then I saw the whole front end go. It was terrifying. The dealership said they had never seen anything like it before and my car is now infamous with all the techs...

shit, I didnt take a picture of my car being towed when I had an accident last summer.
the driver used 20 minutes to pull my car on the flat bed because the car was so low!

Not an Audi, I don't even drive a B6. But my friend and I built this and had to tow it to AutoX before it was legal.

Special order by the orginal owner. You could also special order the Nogaro Blue. I wish i had know before i bought my dolphin grey about the program. But oh well. Next time.

No, I backed into a guy at the Taco Bell drive thru and it pushed my tip up, I haven't bother fixing it, because I'm mulling over an exhaust set-up and S4 bumper.

i got a scratch in my bumper thanks to some asshole knocking over a parking sign in a parking lot....now i have an USP lower :-D

Speeding a little and hit a huge dip in the road making him lose control and over correcting. Then he over corrected into the curb and the curb led him into a fire hydrant and light pole.
